🛡️ TRUST & SERVICE

What is a home watch service?

A home watch service provides scheduled inspections of unoccupied homes—like seasonal properties—to check for leaks, pests, storm damage, and break-ins. It helps you avoid costly surprises and maintain peace of mind while you’re away.

Why hire a professional instead of asking a neighbor?

Neighbors mean well, but they often miss subtle issues. I’m trained to spot early warning signs and provide detailed documentation that may be required by your insurance company.

Are you insured?

Yes. The Home Watch Guy, LLC is fully insured for your protection.

🔧 HOW IT WORKS

How often do you check my home?

I offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly checks depending on your needs. Extra visits for storms or special requests are also available.

What do you look for during a visit?

I inspect both interior and exterior for water damage, system failures, forced entry, pest activity, and other warning signs.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing varies depending on the frequency of the visits. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. The typical fee for bi-monthly visits is under $100.00 per month.

Do I receive a report?

Yes. After every visit, I send a digital report with photos and notes as soon as the visit is complete. These reports serve as insurance documentation to prove the home has been checked within the past 30 days.

📍 SERVICE AREA

Where do you provide home watch services?

I serve the Southern Maine towns of York, Ogunquit, Wells, and Kittery. Nearby? Reach out—I might be able to help.

Do you monitor condos too?

Yes. I service single-family homes, condos, cottages, and vacation rentals.

⚠️ EMERGENCIES & ACCESS

What if you find a problem during a visit?

I contact you immediately and can coordinate with service providers for repairs. You stay informed and in control.

Can you meet contractors if I’m not home?

Absolutely. I can meet with HVAC, pest control, cleaners, or other providers—stay on-site and secure the property afterward.
