What is a Home Visit or Home Check?

Put simply, it's a comprehensive visual assessment of your property, both inside and out.

Exterior Inspection:

We inspect your home's exterior for storm damage, broken windows or doors, fallen trees, tree branches, missing roofing shingles, gutter and downspout condition, and signs of rodent activity. Puddles in the yard or irregularities signal potential issues.

Interior Assessment:

Each room is meticulously examined for signs of water infiltration from pipe leaks or roof issues. We check for any pest activity and keep an eye out for mold, an indicator of moisture problems. If you heating remains on then heating and fuel systems are inspected to ensure proper function. Faucets and toilets are tested to maintain the plumbing system. We also keep track of timers, replace burnt-out bulbs, handle smoke detector maintenance, and monitor basement sump pumps to prevent water damage.

In essence, we take care of the tasks you'd typically handle when living at your property. However, these tasks remain crucial, even when you're not there.
